PK
(2014)

PK is a 2014 Indian comedy-drama film directed by Rajkumar Hirani, produced by Rajkumar Hirani, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Siddharth Roy Kapur, and written by Hirani and Abhijat Joshi. Aamir Khan's character as PK is inspired from a real life character Abraham Kovoor. Hirani has stated that the film will be a satire on "God and godmen".

Story: An alien (Aamir Khan) lands on Earth on a research mission, but is stranded in Rajasthan when his spaceship's remote control is stolen. He learns to fit in among humans by wearing clothes and using money that he steals from couples having sex in cars with open windows. He attempts to learn to communicate by grabbing the villagers' hands and absorbing their memories through touch, but they chase him away when he tries. Bhairon Singh (Sanjay Dutt) believes the alien is a person suffering amnesia and befriends him. He interprets the alien's hand-grabbing as sexual interest and takes him to a brothel. There, the alien holds a prostitute's hand for several hours and thus learns the language.
The alien travels to Delhi in search of his stolen remote. Due to his strange behavior, the people in the city assume him he is tipsy and call him PK. Delhi turns out to be a very large city, and people tell him that only God can help him find his remote. PK tries to find God, but is confused by India's various religions and their confusing traditions. He later discovers that a godman, Tapasvi Maharaj (Saurabh Shukla), has his remote. However, Tapasvi falsely claims to have attained the object from God in the Himalayas and refuses to return it to PK. Bewildered, PK concludes that Tapasvi and other religious heads must be calling a "wrong number" to God and, as a result, spreading misunderstandings and meaningless rituals.
Meanwhile in Bruges, television reporter Jaggu (Anushka Sharma) falls in love with a man named Sarfaraz (Sushant Singh Rajput). Jaggu's father objects to their relationship because Sarfaraz is a Muslim from Pakistan; he consults Tapasvi who predicts that Sarfaraz will betray Jaggu. Determined to prove them wrong, Jaggu proposes to Sarfaraz. She is heart-broken at the wedding chapel when she receives a letter calling off the marriage due to their differences. She returns to India where she intrigued while watching PK distributing leaflets about a missing God. After hearing his story, Jaggu devises a plan to expose Tapasvi and recover PK's remote.
Jaggu encourages thousands of people to send in videos of their own experiences with religious heads calling "wrong numbers". Finally, Tapasvi is forced to come into the studio and confront PK on-air. Tapasvi claims he has a direct connection to God and refers to his prediction of Sarfaraz's betrayal as proof. However, PK absorbs Jaggu's memories and discovers that Sarfaraz did not write the letter she received. Jaggu contacts the Pakistan Embassy in Belgium where Sarfaraz worked; the embassy tells her that Sarfaraz is still loves her and calls them daily to inquire whether she has called. Jaggu and Sarfaraz reconnect and Tapasvi, exposed as a fraud, returns PK's device.
Throughout the film, PK falls in love with Jaggu but refrains from telling her because she loves Sarfaraz. He instead records tapes of her voice and fills his suitcases with batteries so that he can listen to them on his home planet. While departing, he lies to Jaggu regarding the content of the tapes; Jaggu, despite knowing the truth, keeps quiet. Zid

Zid
(2014)

Zid is a Hindi Erotic Thriller film directed by Vivek Agnihotri and produced by Anubhav Sinha in association with Anubhav Sinha Productions Pvt Ltd and Benaras Media Works.

Story: ZID starts off with a flashback which has the film's protagonist Rohan (Karanvir Sharma), a crime reporter with 'The Daily'(a newspaper based in Goa), narrating an incident to his newspaper's editor (Mohan Kapoor) and the area's DSP (Deputy Superintendent of Police). He says that with the help of the editor, he found a rented house at his friend's outhouse located far away from the rest of Goan civilization. Even though the said place looks haunted, Rohan still adjusts himself to the situation despite having 'an absolute motionless and emotionless owner' who is wheel chair driven throughout and who also happens to be the father of Maya (Mannara Chopra). Well, she's apparently a nurse, but swings from a tree all day. For Maya, it is love at first sight when she sees Rohan, who incidentally is 'recovering' from a breakup with Priya (Shraddha Das), his girlfriend of many years and who is now settled in London. While Maya leaves no stone unturned to get Rohan's attention, Rohan seems to be still 'lost in love' about Priya.
Maya instantly falls in love with Rohan, and this love soon turns into an obsession. She calls her sister and reveals her feeling for him. From the start it is obvious that there is no one at the other end of the line. She even enters Ronnie's room and picks a picture out of his photo-frame. He finds it missing, but does nothing to figure out how and why? She spots a picture of her on his desktop (a random picture he had clicked during his ferry ride to the outhouse, before he had even met her), and assumes that he's in love with her.
Rohan is not in love with her, but thinks she is strange and cute, so he plans a date-night at a nightclub. There he bumps into a girl named Nancy. Maya's left with uncontrollable rage when sees him dancing with Nancy, and they quickly leave the bar. On their way back, he continues drinking while driving, their car meets with an accident when it collides with a bike which was being driven by Nancy, who 'incidentally' happens to be Priya's step sister. She falls off the road and rolls down a slope. Ronnie turns hysterical and is desperate to save the girl. But instead of doing anything, he waits on the road and screams while Maya rushes to save the girl because she is a nurse.
The next morning, it's all over the news and the cops are on the case. The girl is found dead, and Ronnie panics because he could be identified in the case. Enter detective Moses with a cheeky grin and annoying laugh. Priya comes back to India from London to hunt for Nancy's killers. Well, at this point we also get to know that Nancy was her step-sister, so Moses suspects that she killed Nancy for her money and wealth and Rohan is her partner-in-crime.
In the meanwhile, Maya does everything wrong to save Rohan in this case. He tells his boss that his car is in the garage, but she dumps the car in a lake so that no one can trace it ever. She even takes off her tee to dive into the lake to show him where the car rests in peace.
Investigations reveal that Nancy had a chance to live even after she was hit by the car, but in reality she was murdered. Priya visits Rohan at his outhouse, and requests him to help her find the murderer. Soon, they warm up to each other again. Their secret meetings move from restaurants to the bedroom. Rohan even ditches Maya's dinner date to spend a night with Priya. Sparks fly again, and kissing leads to love-making. While all this is happening Maya walks into Priya's bedroom and witnesses the lovers in action.
Maya's lunacy reaches new heights. The next day Rohan's pup goes missing, shockingly she fed him to her alligator. Priya finds out that Rohan was at the same bar as Nancy the night she was killed. She feels cheated and betrayed. Priya lands up at the outhouse and starts accusing Maya for everything - including Nancy's murder. They get into a brawl, almost on the verge of killing each other. In the middle of this, Maya finds time to call Rohan to invite him to witness the pow-wow. Rohan arrives, but she attacks him on the head from behind and he suffers a black-out.
Maya rushes to leave her house, but finds Moses there. She wastes no time in killing him. Rohan wakes up and walks into a dark cabin between the woods to find out 'everything-you-want-to-know-about-Maya'.
There are her childhood and adulthood pictures pasted on the walls, and his picture, along with Nancy, Priya, Moses, Bobby (with a red cross on the people who are dead). Maya reappears and reveals it all to him. She also tells him that she had killed her own sister (the dead girl on the other side of her phone) because of jealousy and insecurity.
Maya then blindfolds Rohan, and takes him to the top of a lighthouse. Her plan is to exchange wedding vows with him (so she's dressed in a red gown) for the special moment. She tells him to make love to her, and he obliges.
All this while Priya is dangling in mid-air, on a suspended chair. Rohan lights a cigarette, and spills a glass of wine on it (Maya is orgasmic at this point); causing a fire to break out. Maya pulls the gun on him, Rohan snatches the gun from her hand (which he could have done way before) and throws her off the lighthouse. Now she's dangling from the rod along with Priya. Hilarious! Well eventually, Rohan manages to pull Priya on the top of the lighthouse and save her. After that they both try saving Maya too, but she lets go and falls into the water.
The story doesn't end here. The supposed twist is this. The whole story as we saw it was narrated by Rohan to the DCP in the presence of his editor.
The DCP is convinced by his heart-wrenching story and tells him that he will be out on bail. Rohan is relieved, and as he walks out the real story is revealed. It was all a game-plan by Rohan and Priya. In quick shots they show us how he killed Nancy, threatened Maya and eventually killed her. All this for only claiming Nancy's property. All the characters were victims of his devious design. Rohan ends with saying that is important to create a good story, doesn't matter if it is true or untrue.

Karanvir Sharma as Rohan
Mannara as Maya
Shraddha Das as Priya
Denzil Smith as Inspector Moses

The promos of the film revealed that it belongs to a new genre of musical heist.
The film is scheduled to be released on Diwali, 24 October 2014, in three different languages: Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.

Story: A team of six losers fake participating in a dance competition in their attempt to pull off the greatest diamond heist ever.

Chandramohan "Charlie" Sharma (Shah Rukh Khan) is a street fighter who longs for revenge for his father who was framed as a thief by Charan Grover (Jackie Shroff). He makes a mastermind plan to steal the Shalimar Diamonds from Grover and to frame him just like he had done to his father, Manohar Sharma (Anupam Kher). However, in order to do this he needs to form a team. First he finds his childhood friend Jagmohan "Jag" Prakash (Sonu Sood), a former bomb disposal squad captain. Then he finds a safe cracker, Temhton "Tammy" Irani (Boman Irani), his father's best friend and a hacker, Rohan Singh (Vivaan Shah), Jag's nephew. When they realise that they need to have the finger prints of Charan's son, Vicky Grover (Abhishek Bachchan), Charlie finds Nandu Bhide, a look alike of Vicky. They start planning to steal the diamonds.
Now they only have one problem, they have to take part in World Dance Championship. The Shalimar diamonds are going to be held in the Atlantis hotel, and during the same time the WDC will be taking place. To get in Atlantis and steal the diamonds, they must participate. As hard as they try, they can't dance. So they find a bar dancer, Mohini Joshi (Deepika Padukone) to teach them how to dance without telling her their plan. After a lot of rehearsals and cheating, Team Diamonds become Team India in WDC. During this time period, Charlie and Mohini start falling in love with each other.
When they arrive at Dubai, everyone dislikes them including Grover. However they rehearse and become semi finalists. Their plan was to steal the diamonds after dancing in the semi final, but they have to change their plan as the diamonds are reaching on New Year's Eve instead of Christmas. Unexpectedly, they are chosen as finalists as Charlie had saved a young boy's life from the rivals team and left his own performance.
Things take a turn when Mohini over hears Charlie going through the plan. Just as she is about to leave, Charlie stops her and explains why they had to do this. He also reveals that his father is not in jail but committed suicide. Mohini decides to help the other five. On the night of the finals, everything goes as planned and they manage to steal the diamonds. Mohini realises that the crowd is waiting for them to perform and decides to stay as their country would be let down. Rohan decides to help Mohini. Suddenly, Tammy realises that Mohini is right and he, Nandu and Jag decide to go to perform, leaving Charlie alone.
During the performance, Charlie makes an unexpected entry and the team perform extremely well. When Grover realises that the diamonds are missing he instantly blames Team India but as the whole team are dancing, he is arrested, just like planned. Team India are declared the winners of World Dance Championship 2014. Just as the police are taking Grover away, Charlie reveals who he actually is to Charan and manages to find justice for his father.
